McMan Youth, Family and Community Services Association of Calgary and Area is an organization making a difference in the lives of more than 4,100 children, youth, adults and families annually. McMan is currently looking for a Program Supervisor for the Family Resource Network in Okotoks. The successful candidate

is someone who has strong leadership skills and is passionate about working with children, youth and families.

·       A completed degree/diploma in Social Work, or a related Human Services discipline

·       5+ years of leadership experience and experience managing a dynamic team utilizing reflective supervision

·       Comprehensive knowledge of child and youth development, trauma-informed practices, effective parenting approaches, and family dynamics

·       Strong knowledge and competence in working within partnerships and collaborations

·       Experience in crisis intervention, assessment, and community referrals

·       Experience working with at risk families with complex needs (domestic violence, mental health, and Children and Family Services status) is an asset

·       Excellent communication, organizational, decision-making, and analytical skills

·       Experience and knowledge working within rural communities

·       The ability to hire, train, evaluate, motivate, mentor, coach and develop a successful staff team

·       Current standard First Aid Certification and Suicide Intervention Training

·       A reliable vehicle and proof of adequate vehicle insurance

·       A CURRENT (within 6 months) Child Intervention check and Police/ Vulnerable Sector check
